STOCKWELL  ROAD

This is really just one big bowl with a run in and a large flat area surrounding it with a raised platform in one corner that was used as a slalom start ramp very mellow and lots of fun.

It was totally ignored by the mags in the 70's but made fleeting appearances in the 80's mags and now is one of THE in place to go for the new school street skaters and  visiting American pros and is never out of the mags  as its mellow transitions lend its self to the new school flip tricks

A few bumps and rails have been added over the last 20 odd years or so but one of the strangest things is that in the mid 80's they decided to paint the whole park RED, That's an awful lot of paint the skateparks on a 1 acre site

Stockwell is that much of a legend now days that its even got its own

Board graphic this is probably a world first.
